Workplace health promotion research center
Human capital is the most valuable component of each organization that plays an important role in approaching to development and prosperity. Certainly, achieving health, safety and occupational satisfaction of workforce brings aboat efficiency promotion. Research in the field of workplace health, through delicate and scientific examining of industries’ challenges, service and agricultural organizations and offering executive, practical and native strategies for tackling existing problems, in addition to promoting of country’s scientific status, it underlies the achievement of vision documents’ goals and comprehensive map of science and technology of country and the execution of health comprehensive map of country and formulation of sustainable development policies by managers and health policy-makers.
Mission domains of WHPRC are as following:
- Collaboration with industries and executive organization for identification of health problems and offering operational solutions for tackling them through functional projects
- Performing shared research projects with other national and international educational and research centers, growth centers, knowledge-based company and standard organizations
- Promotion of general knowledge regarding existing risks in work environment and various ways for tackling them through implementation of educational plan, book publication, brochures, seminars, films, etc..
- Participation in holding national and international seminars for publication and specialized knowledge promotion in this field
- Promotion of managers’ knowledge and attitude of managers, policy-makers, planners, and various industries and occupation owner concerning strategies and advantages of health promotion in workplace.
